Reflection #4

Today is the day of election. In an ideal world, people would vote for their favourite candidate, the would support him all the way and want him to win. The sad truth these days is that people vote so that someone else wouldn't win, they choose the less evil option. I get the impression that nowadays it's a popular phenomenen, not only happening in Poland, but still I can't stop thinking, how it was years ago when people really believed in people they voted for, and i hope that next year, when i will finally be able to vote, i will find a candidate that i could realy trust in,.

    Really nice reflection ;) Also pretty funny is, when people're voting for representant of (for example) "Koalicja Obywatelska" just to don't let PiS's representant to win.

    Actually, it's probably easier to find a candidate you believe in in the local elections (a neighbour, a local activist, someone involved in defending the local park) tahn in the national ones, where candidates are more anonymous and all represent olitical parties.

As most of the world knows, we are getting closer and closer to the final season of game of thrones. Me myself I am a huge fan, so this week I decided to watch interview with Lena Headey, one of the main characters in the show. I Usually don’t enjoy talks with celebrities, but I quite enjoyed this one. At first it seemed a little awkward, but then it got really funny. This week I watched one more  video focusing on the fantasy world. It was supposed to spot the almost unseen mistakes made during filming the lord of the rings trilogy. I watched all three parts like a hundred times and I never spotted any of these small details. It was funny to realize how stupid some of these mistakes are. I still love the movie, and I think this video was not really in my type, the lectors voice seemed to be judging and making fun a little bit too harsh! This week I watched a video about Ed Wood, so called the worst director in the world. I saw one of his worst movies („Plan 9 from outer space”), but i didn't know lot about the director himself. Since he was a boy, he had a   fetish of womens clothes, he was even wearing lady underwear secretly during his time in the army . He was also a huge fan of Bela lugoci, an actor who played Draclua when Ed was young, his obssesion led to casting Bela in every Eds movie, he even used clips with Lugoci in his films after Bela died! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvTUDznCm2Y Vocabulary 1.
