Reflection #1

Yesterday, when i was in the city, i saw bilboards of the goverments oposition blaming the running party for the things they promised to do. I started wondering, why people try to fight problems with hate?  I understand why these bilboards were created, but using hate and anger is not the way to solve this problem. A lot of people instead of talking peacefully, or finding a different solution turn to hate and anger. This terrefies me cause i see more and more people not thinking on their own, but following leaders talking with hate. Its easier just to hate and point out others mistakes, instead of focusing on what I can do better. Cause shouldn't we all start with fixing ourselves, if we want to change the world?

  1. I see these billboards as a sign of desperation - the opposition feel they are losing, don't understand why and try to use the stategies that the ruling party has used successfully. Desperate times require desperate measures.
And like you I am getting more and more scared of the future where people cannot communicate rationally but are governed by tribal emotions instead.

  2. I agree that the oposition simply copies the methods of the ruling party that apeared to be effective and I think the bilboards are already another sign of this.It could be seen also when they ,,stole" the 500+ project. It really scares me how much politics become to be more and more about populism and PR and not about factual discussion.
